Check out who from NEO showed out this past weekend in Cincinnati!

Adidas All-In Recap

The Adidas All In tournament invaded Cincinnati for yet another year and once again, the event was a whose who for college coaches across the Midwest.  With over 150 teams making up the four divisions, NEO was well-represented in the Queen City.

OBC 16U's squad finished 5-0 and won the Showtime Platinum division, defeating their opponents by an average of 32.6 points per game. While both the OBC 17U and 16U teams handled business in their respective brackets, there were several other players who stood out from the area.

Top Performers

Naz Bohanon ('17) 6'4, OBC 17U

On an OBC team that isn't lacking any size, Bohanon has grown more accustomed to playing on the perimeter and the effects have carried over to his play with Lorain as well. Entering his senior year, Bohanon is growing into much more than just a competitor as he has been a reliable scorer for his squad on the circuit. In a four-point win over rival OBC - White, Bohanon and Tommy Schmock combined for over half of the team's scoring output. With football season around the corner, Bohanon holds more than a handful of offers in each sport and he will be left with a tough decision in terms of which direction he plans on steering his recruitment.

Shawn Christian ('17) 5'11 OBC - Jackson

Perhaps the best shooter on hand this past weekend, Shawn Christian was absolutely on-fire during pool play. In a matchup against B.A.M. from out of Iowa, Christian exploded for 43 points in an 11-point win. Cleveland State secured a verbal commitment from Christian back in March, and the 5'11 combo-guard hasn't settled. He has spent a large part of the summer working on his body in effort to prepare for his senior season and the physicality of the Horizon League.

Dwayne Cohill ('18) 6'3 OBC 16U

After a strong performance at the Adidas Gauntlet Finale, Dwayne Cohill picked up where he left off down in Cincinnati. Cohill has shown over the years that he can attack the rim and score with the best of them, but on Saturday, his point guard instincts and steadily improving jumpshot stood out. In what turned out to be one of OBC's more competitive games against the West Virginia Wildcats, Cohill scored a game-high 23 points and dished out 6 assists.

Jordan Fabry ('17) 6'3 SMAC Elite

Fabry was one of our players of the week based on his performance this weekend. With his perimeter shot hitting on all cylinders, Fabry also showcased a knack for rebounding the ball at a high level on the defensive end. In a matchup against the Team 1 Phenoms, Fabry scored 17 second half points after a relatively slow start in the first 16 minutes of play; he also grabbed 12 boards.

Christian Guess ('18) 6'5 OBC 16U

After bouncing around a bit last summer, Guess has appeared to find a home with Coach Dan Urban and OBC. Guess has seen his recruitment pick up throughout the month of July and Coach Senderoff at Kent State was the first to extend an offer to the 6'5 awing. While his scoring wasn't very prominent this weekend, Guess showed a solid feel for the game and a very underrated ability to find teammates in the halfcourt.

Luke Schaefer ('17) 6'3 COSA

Coach Chris Hassinger has accredited Luke Schaefer as being one of the hardest workers in his program over at Medina. The extra reps appear to be paying off. With an much-improved outside game, Schaefer is beginning to score the ball from all three levels on the floor. His one dribble pull-up was virtually automatic and it allowed him to get to the rim where he has proven to be an above-average finisher.
