Most competitive division?

Peatross (NEO Spotlight) - I'm really excited about the Division III tournament and I think it has a chance to be the highlight of the weekend. There's no shortage of high-end talent between the four teams and the number of athletes on the floor should make for some entertaining basketball. This pool features two of the state's premier juniors in Taft's Rayvon Griffith and Africentric's Dailyn Swain.

Albertson (Triple Double Prospects) - Division III seems to be the most balanced to me, on paper. With Centerville in Division I and Akron STVSM in Division II being clear favorites, I think you can make a case for any of the four remaining teams to take home the trophy in Division III. The semifinal matchup between Cincinnati Taft and Cleveland Lutheran East is probably the game I'm most excited for so far, as we'll see some top athletes and a pace of play which should excite the crowd.

Stubbs (Around the State Podcast) - Division III looks to be the most competitive division. I could make a legitimate case for each of the four teams to emerge as the champion. Cincinnati Taft, Lutheran East, and Ottawa-Glandorf were all state tournament participants a year ago, and Africentric has a player (Dailyn Swain) capable of carrying a team to gold.

Goul (cleveland.com) - Grab your coffee for Division III in the morning. If not, the games should provide a jolt by themselves. Three of the four programs made it here last year. Africentric is rolling in with Dailyn Swain as the new team among the four. I like Taft a lot with Rayvon Griffith, Mekhi Elmore and Brandon Cromer. I might have been the only voter in the AP poll still keeping them high on my ballot all season. Tough schedules matter. They pay off this time of year, and I don’t think anyone in Division III has had it tougher than Taft and defending champ Lutheran East, which is playing well. Ottawa-Glandorf has unfinished business. This is the one division where I can see any of the four raising the trophy on Sunday.

Roth (Prep Hoops Ohio) - Division III is the most competitive division by a lot. Each team should go into the Final 4 expecting to have a great chance to lift a state title trophy. Three of the four teams are the same from last year and have been favorites all season long. With Rayvon Griffith, Jesse McCulloch, Colin White and Dailyn Swain, there’s a lot of star power for each team.

Spegal (270 Hoops) - I think the most competitive division is going to be Division III. There is no clear favorite and both final four matchups are bound to be very competitive as Africentric takes on Ottawa-Glandorf and Taft will play Lutheran East. There is also some star power in this division between guys like Dailyn Swain and Rayvon Griffith.

Fleer (270 Hoops) - Division III to me seems like a toss up. I think anyone can win that, which will make every game very entertaining.
