Biggest Stock Riser?

T.J. Peatross, NEO Spotlight - The addition of senior Kollin Tolbert to an already talented group has helped Fairfield hold a 12-1 record and has allowed the Indians to emerge as one of the state's top contenders in Division 1. At 6'2, Tolbert is a tough nosed guard that can score the ball in bunches. His game-high 19 points against Cincinnati Sycamore pushed the Indians over the top in overtime, giving them the top spot in the GMAC. Tolbert is one of the best available guards in Ohio's 2022 class.

Corey Albertson, Triple Double Prospects - Nate Dudukovich would be the first name that comes to mind down my way. Yes, Nate was already an established player down here, but he's taken his game to the next level in 2021-2022. Lakota West is that team who you never think is going to be in a game but always finds a way, and that's in big part due to Dudukovich and his shooting but also his grit. I'm a big fan of guys who love to work, and with Dudukovich it's obvious he's put a ton of time into improving his basketball game and his body.

Matt Goul, cleveland.com - It’s tough for me to say. I don’t think I’ve seen enough games this season, but I might take Wadsworth junior Solomon Callaghan just because every time someone sees him for the first time, they rave about him. He’s an excellent creator with the basketball, but has an even better off-court presence. That matters.

Michael Roth, Prep Hoops Ohio - Solomon Callaghan has been on a tear this season and really establishing himself as one of the top guards in NEO. He's playing with the Ohio Buckets this Spring and Summer, and adding his self-creation ability next to Austin Parks and Logan Beaston is going to be fun to watch. Think Division I coaches are going to take an interest in Callaghan after hearing about what he's doing for Wadsworth this season.

Jake Meisler, Spy Report - The 2022 and 2023 classes are pretty well broadcasted, so I’ll go a bit young here.  People need to watch Colin White (2024) of Ottawa Glandorf.  While playing for a historic and powerhouse program, the kid is seriously electric and defines the term "stock riser.”

Zach Fleer, 270 Hoops - Gianna Lane of Tree of Life. The freshman guard is leading all of Central Ohio basketball, boys and girls, in scoring and has led the Lady Trojans to a 12-0 record. She is an absolute star of a guard and is also one of the elite track and field athletes in the state. This is a player on the girls side that fans in Ohio should know about for years to come.

Jake Spegal, 270 Hoops - The biggest stock riser I have seen so far this season is Eastmoor's Dennis Asoro. The senior big man had a great fall and is carrying it over to the high school season as no team in the Columbus City League has a matchup for his size. He has been an absolute force on the interior in virtually all of Eastmoor's games and has a chance to be a great player at the next level as he continues to develop and get better.
