Most Competitive Division?

Now that the Final 4 is set: which of the four divisions is the most wide open? The experts were split on Division I and Division II during the Regular Season Wrap Up

Peatross (NEO Spotlight) : I'm going to stick with my choice of Division II. Any of these four teams could cut down the nets on Sunday and I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing how it plays out. A lot of people, including myself, are anticipating a Bishop Ready/CJ matchup but the dynamic guard play of Lutheran West and Akron Buchtel could really shake things up.

Goul (Cleveland.com) : I’m going with Division II for what I noted in the last question. Buchtel vs. Ready feels like it could be the best semifinal of the first two days not involving Centerville and Pickerington Central. Lutheran West has the size and talent to compete with Chaminade Juliennne, but I’m going with the Eagles there and my uncrowned Mr. Basketball pick of George Washington III.

Roth (Prep Hoops) : Division II is the most competitive and that hasn’t changed; the four best teams are still alive.

Spegal (270 Hoops) : I still believe that the most competitive division is Division II. I truly believe that any of the four teams left could bring home the title and I think that we are in for three exciting games at the Division II level on Friday and Sunday.

Stubbs (Drive to Dayton) : This appears to be pretty even between Division II and III. As I look back at my prior statement, this hasn’t changed much. I really believe any of the four teams in Division II will have a chance to cut down the nets on Sunday. If you really follow this sport, it would be hard to find someone that has a hard lean toward one of these teams unless you have an affiliation with a particular school. Division III is not far behind. I truly believe three of the four teams have a legitimate opportunity to be called state champion with Harvest Prep being potentially a year away.
