Dale Bonner 6'2 PG (Shaker Hts.) 2018 - His Spring statistics from the adidas Gauntlet won't jump off the charts, but Dale Bonner was quietly one of the team's most productive players per 32 minutes. This experience and grind was key to building some momentum heading into the summer for the wiry Bonner. Using the offseason to begin adding strength and explosion, the extra work resulted in a newfound bounce to his step.

From the end of the season to right now, no one in my book has made a jump comparable to Bonner's. Whether it be big-time transition throwdowns or a high releasing pullup jumper, June was served as a coming out party for the Cleveland native.

Notre Dame (OH) and Fairmont State are the latest to extend offers Bonner's way and I'd be surprised if they were the last. Attempting to strike while the iron is hot, a commitment may not be too far down the road.

Davin Zeigler 6'1 CG (Benedictine) 2019 - Back in June, it was announced that the Bengals of Benedictine would be moving to division one following the OHSAA's ruling on competitive balance. Coach Rob Stircula understands the transition will have its challenges but he has to be happy with how well his team performed at times throughout the summer.

One highlight was the emergence of Davin Zeigler. The 6'1 guard was a key piece to Bene's run as a sophomore but it appears as if he is beginning to turn the corner. A breakout performance at Youngstown State was all it took for the new staff at YSU to pull the trigger on the explosive athlete. Check out some highlights via 3rdCoastHoops from Davin's performance!

Brandon Rush 6'1 CG (Warrensville Hts.) 2019 - One of the area's top microwave scorers, guys who can get going in a few minutes, Rush has started to show what he can do as an on-ball defender. His effort on that end combined with his ability to score in the paint has placed his name on the radar of a number of area programs. Warrensville lost just two games throughout their time in June and appeared to be a team that could find themselves on our preseason polls come November. With incoming freshman Ramelle Arnold, the Tigers will feature a young but dynamic backcourt that will be intriguing to watch in the near future.

Andre Harris 6'3 WG (Brush) 2019 - Andre Harris passes the eye test. His lengthy, athletic frame screams, "ball player" but now, this untapped potential has transformed into an increase in production. In a handful of showings at university elite camps, Harris showed a much better job asserting himself, particularly on the offensive end, and using his stride and athleticism to get his feet in the lane. He currently holds a trio of offers from both the MAC and Horizon League.
